DONNA CALVERT’S STORY

The success of Video Professor’s effectiveness is perfectly shown in the story of longtime patron, Donna Calvert. Ms. Calvert has been using Video Professor ever since it was only available in videotape. She first started utilizing Video Professor in a program for a college in Illinois where they were trying to establish a computer literacy program.

She found that Video Professor was the most efficient educational tool, as it taught the courses in a “hands on” way. In addition, she found the tutorials easy to reinforce to new students as it included everything that she was teaching in her classes.

She noted that that the Video Professor program allows her students (both adults and adolescents) to feel comfortable using the technology. Those intimidated by modern technology were able to learn about the various computer programs in Calvert’s class.

As a former Dean of e-business and a teacher of technology at one of the major tech colleges in the United States, Calvert fully endorses Video Professor. In her professional opinion, she believes that primarily, people are just not at the same learning levels, and when they have a computer class it can simply be overwhelming. As a result, she thinks that the product should be mandatory in all classrooms.
